Job vacancy for sous chef in Limpopo.
Job requirements:
- Must have 3 years experience in restaurant or similar
- Be able to work on your own
- Competent in all aspects of hygiene
- Panning, time control, stock rotation and control
- Stock take on weekly and monthly basis
- Be able to prep, cook, bake and present meals A la carte and Buffet menu's
- Plan menu's with owners on a 7 day cycle
- Responsible for clean up after shift
- Ensure all breakables in good condition at all times
- Ensure deep cleaning of all areas, dry store and refrigerated areas
- Have excellent communicating, PC, costing and procuring skills
- Must be SA citizen with no criminal record
- Preferably a non-smoker
- Must be accountable, flexible, cooperative
- Have initiative and a team player
- Own transport
- Live in position, own cottage, meals on duty, uniforms
- Salary negotiable according to qualifications
- Time off/leave periods to be discussed
