Specialist: Compensation & Benefits

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for employees compensation & benefits, compensation databases and benchmarking, job grading, as well as administration of the employee share matching scheme. In addition, you will also be responsible for coordinating global mobility services and execution in line with Saabs International Assignment Policy. You will need to have strong analytical skills, be able to work under tight deadlines and possess high level of professionalism.

Your role

Compensation & Benefits
  • Prepare the annual workforce and salary budget including the evaluation of the need for new positions and the total remuneration cost
  • Analyse different components of the remuneration scheme in the organization and prepares reports about the internal equity and external competitiveness
  • Manage all increase related administration, timeous surveying, benchmarking and analysis
  • Collaborate with line managers to drive HR & Compensation policies and processes
  • Administration and management of the Job Profiling and Job Grading process
  • Coordinates and manages the relationship with the external compensation consulting company
  • Management and administration of Saab Shares scheme
Global Mobility
  • Ensure a smooth expatriation and repatriation of all international assignments
  • Coordination and administration of Expats and benefits planning & administration
  • Provide guidance and support in obtaining the necessary visas, work permits, and other immigration documents
  • Act as the liaison for communicating with immigration authorities and ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations in both the home and host countries
Your profile

Knowledge Required
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, advanced skills in Excel and skills in SAGE 300 People
  • Good working knowledge of international assignment management
  • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment and remuneration law and employees tax knowledge

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Finance
