- Provide a premium CS service to the business.
- Comply with, enforce, and enhance the documented processes of the Contractor lifecycle.
- Support the achievement of the recruitment objectives of the business, i.e., volume, timeliness, and quality.
- Collaborate with Temporary Employment Services Providers (TES) to ensure that placements are confirmed, and Confirmation of Assignments are in place for all Contractors.
- Ensure the accurate and timeous processing of all appointments, terminations, and transfers in line with time submission deadlines, payroll closure and business requirements.
- Actively engage with and render support to the TESs on performance- and conduct-related topics.
- Manage (guide, lead and oversee) the Contractor resources within the CS team.
- Support the engagement with Purchasing and Legal to ensure Purchasing and Legal compliance.
- Ensure that sourcing through TESs in the business complies with Group Governance.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of and ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements in collaboration with HR Governance and Risk.
- Review the list of TESs, seek, and recommend improvements to the HR department.
- In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for:
- Give functional and disciplinary direction to the 4 contractors in the team, and ensure consistent and regular communications, on key information.
- Responsible to deliver a high-quality, professional CS Administration service to all South African entities, by ensuring that all responsibilities within the department (Project deadlines, delivery deadlines, outstanding issues, communications etc.) are brought to a swift conclusion.
- Responsibility to ensure the CS department is represented and involved in the relevant policy groups. Lead any department communications, ensuring a standard and consistent approach on CS topics.
- Deal with escalations where the team have been unable to respond effectively, or which have resulted in significant/multiple escalations.
- Take ownership for investigating, analysing, and raising the required tickets within area of expertise. Ensure relevant business and system documentation is completed.
- Bachelors Degree in HR Management or Business Management
- 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
- 5+ years experience working with contingent workforces and TESs
- Ability to handle complex situations and engaging all relevant stakeholders
- Strong relevant knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to contract labour and employment law.
- Excellent Computer skills (MS Suite, SAP, database management) and data analysis.
