Specialist: HR Strategist

Core Description
Responsible to provide critical support in the development, implementation, and execution of HR strategies and initiatives. This involves conducting research, analyzing data, and collaborating with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to help shape the HR department's strategic direction. With a focus on data-driven decision-making and process improvement, contribute to enhancing HR programs, policies, and practices to align with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Drive preparation and shaping of CHRO Executive reporting.
Key Deliverables / Primary Functions
  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement to provide meaningful reports and actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other stakeholders to support the creation and execution of HR strategies
  • Conduct industry research and benchmarking to identify best practices and innovative HR strategies.
  • Assist in managing HR strategic projects, ensuring timely completion and successful implementation. Drive collaboration across project teams to achieve HR project milestones and objectives.
  • Evaluate HR policies and processes to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Support the talent management agenda by providing data insights and analysis into initiatives such as talent acquisition and pipeline development.
  • Assist in the design and administration of employee engagement surveys, and drive the formulation and operationalization of action plans to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • Support and drive HR metrics dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives, against the Top Employer benchmarks.
  • Keep abreast with industry trends, market insights and evolving methodologies to ensure that the HR strategy remains relevant and future fit.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to gather information, share insights, and support HR-related cross-functional projects.

Proven experience in data analysis, research, or HR analytics is desirable.

Level of Engagement & Span of Control Engagement will all levels within the organisation, internal and external to the business.
