Purpose Statement
- To initiate, implement, monitor, and drive suitable recovery processes to ensure optimal recoveries and collateral realisation in respect of the Rental Finance non-performing loan portfolio.
- Provide specialist input, recommendations, and ensure Legal compliance, in order to maximise recoveries and minimise recovery costs. Enable restructures of distressed debt and rehabilitation of clients to optimise recoveries within reduced recovery times by managing the full recovery process.
- Manage disputes and relevant external stakeholders.
- Admitted attorney / advocate.
- At least 2 years post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice.
- 3+ years post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice focusing on rental finance litigation (for at least 1 year)
- A relevant degree in Law
- Up-to-date knowledge of the Collections and Recoveries environment
