Job Title: Splice/Opticals Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Splice Manager to join our team! As a Splice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the splicing process, ensuring efficient and high-quality fibre optic splicing, and leading a team of splicing technicians. If you have a strong background in fibre optics and leadership skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of splicing technicians
- Ensure timely and high-quality fibre optic splicing
- Plan, organize, and prioritize splicing projects
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient workflow
- Troubleshoot splicing issues and resolve problems
- Develop and implement process improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in fibre optic splicing
- 2+ years of leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of fibre optic theory and practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Must have Openserve experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certifications (e.g., CFOT, FOA)
- Experience with splicing software and equipment
