As a Maintenance Technician at this company, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Machine Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on carpet tufting machines to ensure their optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing issues with machinery and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Maintenance: Developing and implementing preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns and extend machinery life span.
- Equipment Upgrades: Collaborating with the production team to evaluate and implement equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts inventory.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance (mechanical, motors, control systems), especially within the textile or carpet tufting industry, is highly desirable.
- Maintenance of the wool and cotton dyeing machinery
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repairing machinery, including electrical and mechanical components.
- A relevant trade qualification is ideal but not essential. Demonstrated hands-on experience and expertise will be highly valued.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions under pressure.
