Hire Resolve's client is currently looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Standards Officer to join their mining team in the North-West region. As a Standards Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards, as well as implementing best practices within the mining operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain compliance standards and procedures for the mining operations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards
- Provide guidance and training to employees on standards and safe work practices
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Collaborate with different departments to implement and enforce standards
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of standards and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Safety Management
- Experience and knowledge in ISO 54001; ISO 14001; and ISO 9001
- Extensive knowledge in MHSA, Labour Acts, and Mining industry legislatives
- 8 years' experience as a Standards Officer withing the mining industry.
- 5 years' experience in SHERQ Disciplines
- Valid Drivers' License
- Salary: Negotiable
