Statutory Accountant

Incubeta is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the Group Finance Team as a Statutory Reporting Accountant. The purpose of the role is to take ownership of the statutory reporting requirements of several legal entities in EMEA and APAC. This will include driving the local audit processes and proactively liaising with auditors to ensure timely audit sign-offs.

Incubeta is a global digital marketing company operating in approx. 20 countries with over 800 employees worldwide. We are embarking on our strategy of growth, both organically and via acquisition. Core finance processes are structurally centralised to ensure streamlined and consistent support for our operations - with team members working across several geographical locations.

Responsibilities

• Timely preparation of local GAAP financial statements according to local requirements
• Manage and drive resolution of queries arising from the local statutory audits.
• Liaise between accounting teams, legal, tax, external advisors and auditors.
• Advise management on process improvements and design for new local reporting requirements.
• Maintain and document Statutory earnings reconciliation vs IFRS.
• Support and respond to different business requests as needed.
• Execute tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g. CA, ACCA) or in pursuit thereof is a plus.
• Completed articles or has at least 3+ years experience in an audit environment and financial statement preparation.
• Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
