Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Handyman to take care of our property maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades with a strong background in various maintenance tasks. This role involves performing repair and maintenance duties, conducting inspections, and ensuring the overall functionality of our properties.
Responsibilities:
1. General Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
2. Property Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues before they become major problems.
- Keep detailed records of inspections and maintenance activities
3. Groundskeeping:
- Maintain the exterior of the property, including landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal.
- Monitor and address safety hazards such as uneven surfaces or damaged walkways
4. Emergency Response:
- Be available for on-call duties to respond to emergency maintenance requests after regular business hours.
- Quickly assess and address urgent maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Maintenance Handyman or similar role.
2. Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Job Type: Temp to perm
Salary: R12,500.00 - R14,000.00 per month
