Job Description
Responsible for taking full control over stock management and other ad hoc duties.
Requirements
- Completed Grade 12 or NQF 4
- Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
- Experience with agricultural products such as animal feeds, irrigation pipes and fencing products will be a definite advantage
- Able to read and understand Afrikaans (Database is Afrikaans)
- Thorough understanding of stock rotation, expiry dates and limiting stock losses
- Valid drivers license
- Responsible for daily stock count and stock control in yard
- Assist with maintaining the level of stock within the authorized parameters and identifying non-moving stock
- Ensure that all stock that is delivered complies with the Company's policy
- Ensure that stock matches the documents with pick-up (Ensure correct procedure for returns are followed including quantities, documents and signatories on documentation)
- Checking and control of expiry dates
- Assigning products to a specific location on a shelf/store/building (rak & bin)
- Submitting weekly stock reports to manager.
- Ad hoc related duties
- Ensure quality of service by assisting customers and referring them to the correct department/area
- Ensure proper housekeeping and neatness of premises
