As the Store Manager, you will be crucial to the store's triumph. You will be accountable for overseeing the day-to-day operations, inspiring and guiding a team, and boosting sales and revenue. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor sales associates, ensuring they deliver exceptional customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop new team members as required.
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them, maximising store revenue.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the brand, products, and sustainability initiatives to effectively communicate with customers and enhance their shopping experience.
- Ensure the store is visually appealing, following brand guidelines and merchandising standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage replenishment processes.
- Utilise sales reports and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Record customer returns and comments in a quantifiable manner, reporting regularly to head office.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- At least 3 years of experience in retail, ideally in a menswear environment.
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, or Assistant Store Manager level with a desire to progress in your career.
- Passionate about sustainability and knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and build lasting relationships.
- Proactive and organised, with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue.
- Ability to analyse sales data and make informed decisions.
