Job responsibilities:
- Your objective as the Store Manager is to lead an enthusiastic team to drive sales while exceeding your customers’ expectation.
- The mrpsport Store Manager is expected take ownership of their store.
- As part of your role you will work with the Area Manager to deliver effective merchandise management principles, you will maintain visual standards, manage your store budget and shrinkage, monitor stock flows and manage the people aspects for your store which include employee relations and recruitment.
- Ultimately your core focus is to offer the mrpsport customer a personal shopping experience with exceptional levels of customer using your expertise on sports gear and equipment.
Job requirements:
- Grade 12
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a retail store.
- It would be preferred if you have worked within an Apparel and Footwear retail environment ·
- You should also possess the following skills:
- a high level of customer service, a proven ability to drive store sales and minimize shrinkage
- effective people leadership
- excellent communication skill
- you are highly analytical and solutions oriented
