ROLE PURPOSE

The role is to handle all tasks that are related to the inventory of Logicalis SA. The role includes maintaining inventory levels, daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports and maintaining accurate records.

Role Responsibilities

The inventory administrator oversees the flow of inventory in and out of the stockroom, this covers managing ETAs, back orders, deliveries, shipments, maintenance and storage.

Delivery Responsibilities
  • Maintains and manages inventory, In the accounting system, receipt of new items, returns, back orders.
  • Controls the monthly stock counts, reporting on any discrepancies, shortages, remove redundant and obsolete stock.
  • Ensure that inventory is clearly labelled in the stock room.
  • Ensure that inventory procured for internal use are clearly labelled and easily identifiable on the stockroom floor.
  • Manage the couriers in Cape Town
  • Checking that all purchase orders have a corresponding sales order.
  • Liaise with the billing departments to ensure the timely delivery of product only orders.
  • Work closely with accounts payable department to ensure a seamless flow of paper trail that covers all goods receipt, returns etc.
  • Oversee the Fixed Asset Register
Experience

PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 years experience in a stock control environment
Qualifications
  • A tertiary accounting qualification

  • Be able to communicate assertively across all areas of the business.
  • Can maintain professionalism in a pressured environment.
