The Structural Steel Designer/Detailer is responsible for assisting the Civil Team with structural steel design and detailing for projects in the Power Generation Industry.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Structural Steel design.
- Assist with Tender preparation.
- Preparation of Lesedi standard drawings.
- Minimum National Diploma in a relevant engineering qualification from an accredited university or equivalent with minimum of 1 year in Civil / Structural Engineering draughting and detailing, OR
- Minimum National Certificate level 4 in a relevant draughting qualification from an accredited college or equivalent with Minimum of 4 years Civil / Structural Engineering draughting and detailing;
- AutoCAD experience;
- Strand7 and Prokon software experience will be advantageous;
- Structural steel design and detailing experience;
- General civil services experience will be advantageous;
- ECSA registration will be advantageous;
- Report and Technical writing skills.
