Hatch is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. The Structural Engineer will work on a variety of projects within the public works sector. These will include bridges, stormwater structures, schools, clinics and other public infrastructure.
They will interact with the client and be responsible for technical aspects related to the discipline. In addition, the Structural Engineer defines and develops plans to manage project requirements and resources to achieve results in terms of quality, cost and schedule.
You Bring To The Role
- A recognized degree in Engineering from an accredited university
- Professional Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
- Minimum 8 years experience
- Strong client focus
- Ability to manage a team to attain results
- Experience with working on projects in a multidisciplinary environment
- Strong deliverable focus
- Ability to plan the work
- Good understanding of procurement and contractor management
