Position Summary: Serves as a liaison between school, home, and community agencies to promote and enhance student attendance and adjustment to school routines. Participates in school meetings, training, and home visits to determine cause of student absences and truancy. Provides agency referrals and assistance to families and students to enhance school attendance. Assists with removal of educational barriers and connects resources for students and families
who are: experiencing homelessness, receiving foster care and for those with attendance or behavior concerns.

Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week

Experience And Education
The position typically requires an Associates degree, or equivalent, and/or four years of experience in child welfare and attendance or related experience in working with high-risk students & families. Experience working with students and attendance challenges is required. Additional experience may substitute for some higher education.
Licenses and Certifications
Requires a valid drivers license and proof of insurance.
