The Economic Development Reporting Supervisor will play a crucial role in driving economic development through renewable energy initiatives. Reporting to the Economic Development Manager, the Economic Development Reporting Supervisor will lead a team responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on economic development data associated with power projects. This role is vital in ensuring that projects not only provide clean energy but also create jobs, stimulate local economies, and have a positive social impact.

Position: Economic Development Supervisor
Location: Cape Town / Port Elizabeth
Qualifications:
* Relevant Degree or qualification
* Renewable Energy industry experience
Skills & Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years in economic development within renewable energy
* Knowledge of B-BBEE codes (various sectors)
* Renewable energy project experience
* Supervisory experience (Advantageous)
* Knowledge of ED obligations and ability to transform into ED reports
* Strong excel skills
Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee the creation and implementation of ED reporting, governance and administrative procedures
* Manage and monitor ED reporting process followed by ED Analyst
* Obtain localisation ED information monthly from contractors
* Establish and optimise the ED plans and procedures
* Implement the ED plans and procedures during construction
* Conduct periodic audits with contractors on preferential procurement and job creation elements
