Job Summary
EQ8 Recruit has been engaged to help recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator to be based in Cape Town, South Africa. The supply chain coordinator will be responsible for interacting with other sales and operation planning role players to document supply chain management issues. The role will also involve tracking sales plans, evaluating demand and supply scenarios, evaluating the production schedule, and interacting with production management.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
In order to be shortlisted for this role, you have the following skills and experience, but not limited to:-
- Matriculation Certificate and further studies in the field of Supply Chain Management
- ASM (SAPICS) accreditation such as CPIM not a requirement but would be an advantage
- Supply Chain Management experience
- 4+ years experience in planning/and or logistics/and or production
- Knowledge of the Printing and Packaging industry advantageous
- Previous experience in working on an ERP system
The role responsibilities will include, but not limited to:-
- Managing the entire order fulfillment process to ensure an integrated supply chain
- Facilitating customer collaboration to establish constraints
- Developing and managing a feasible master plan
- Engaging business in all areas relating to order fulfillment
- Initiating all preparation for the sales and operations planning processes
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
A market-related salary based on the level of responsibility for this role is on offer.
