Supply Chain Optimisation Lead

Overview
  • Constantly review and analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities to measure and improve key KPIs
  • Analyse and design business processes; identify alternative solutions to exploit new technologies and automation. Develop graphical representations of business processes to facilitate understanding and decision making
  • Select, tailor and implement business process improvement methods and tools at programme, project and team level
  • Investigates operational requirements, problems, and opportunities, seeking effective business solutions through improvements
Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Create processes and methods to automate information gathering across the value chain
  • Review, streamline and automate all internal and external supply chain reports
  • Develop and maintain detailed process maps of key value chain processes to assist with optimisation and simulation
Create Supply chain analytic Centre of Excellence
  • Create value utilising: Descriptive-, Diagnostic-, Predictive and Prescriptive analytics
  • Transfer knowledge and insights to all business levels with effective data representation using various BI tools
  • Root cause analysis of why key supply chain KPIs are not met
  • Use analysis results to improve supply chain processes, performance and to reduce costs
Operational Input
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of supply chain optimisation projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning, inventory optimisation)
  • Prepare the required documentation for the IBP supply review meetings and support the process and methodology
Future Proof our Business
  • Develop frameworks to identify the value of implementing advanced tools and technologies within the Aspen value chain (IOT, Big data, Blockchain, Machine learning, AI)
  • Support the creation of LP/MIP capability within Aspen and create the framework/Tools for data engineering, digital twin, optimisation and simulation
Skills Required

Background/experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics or Finance
  • 6 to 12 years relevant experience, preferably in planning, or analytics centre of excellence
  • Experience in data management and advanced analytics
Specific Job Skills
  • Computer literacy with particular proficiency in optimisation, simulation and BI tools
Competencies
  • Data management and data engineering skills to enable optimal data process and methodology
  • Expertise in Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies, techniques, and methods, including process mapping / modelling
  • Expertise in advanced analytics
  • Expertise in LP/MIP, optimisation and simulation
  • Excellent analytical and abstraction reasoning skills, as well as problem solving ability
