We are looking for a Support Analyst / Developer to join our team in Cape Town on a permanent basis. The right person will be wanting to work within an intelligent, motivated, self-driven team with low egos, good communication skills, and an effective problem-solving approach.
You would be very conscious of the importance of sharing knowledge and building other team members in the process. Our team must be able to tune into the needs of clients and their higher objectives to solve problems where not all the information is readily available.
The vacancy is for a role within one of our teams focused on supporting a number of complex business solutions that have been developed for our key clients.
Key Responsibilities Of Role
- Lead a team supporting a portfolio of complex custom business applications
- Maintain system knowledge of the supported applications to provide end user support
- Work with end user stakeholders to understand issues experience to provide resolution support
- Debugging C# and SQL code / queries
- Applying minor enhancement to the supported systems
- Performing environment support and patching
- Assisting with peer code reviews and testing
- Software development orientated 3/4-year degree / diploma
- Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience supporting custom applications
- Strong MS SQL skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
