Support Developer

Role Purpose The Application Support team consists of Application Support professionals providing a broad range of application support for Investments systems, data management, controlling trouble shooting of system issues and support for business. The candidate will be required to develop and maintain existing and new applications. Responsibilities and work outputs System Analysis and Design using Requirements Specification documentation Systems testing Ad hoc support Investigate and resolve application errors, data discrepancies and queries Monitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and stakeholders are kept informed Support project implementations, provides documentation, and user training Assist with development of business requirements specifications Testing of new functionality and enhancements (Information gathering and investigation of requirements) Provide training to all new users and prepare training material specific to business going live Investigating data reports to identify potential data and system errors. Project work Proposing system solutions to meet business requirements Configure the system to implement the solutions System setup and configuration Regular system integrity checks Maintain and enforce system standards (security and integrity) Monitor and maintain system capacity and performance Monitor un-posted and errors on system batches What competencies you'll require Strong technical skills; Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Decision making

• Initiate action; Deliver results Strong communication skills essential Experience and Qualifications Degree/ Diploma in Financial Information Systems or related qualification; BSc or Bisson BTECH or Dip. 3 -4 years working experience in financial accounting and systems environment Solid experience in ASP.Net, MVC and C# .Net Experience in MS SQL Server Experience in JavaScript and jQuery Experience in LINQ, WCF and Bootstrap Systems Development in C# (incl. Web) using Visual Studio 2017 Database Development and Design using SQL Server 2012 (Transact SQL) Code Management in Team Foundation Server 201
