Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Support Engineer at AutoMill, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining an advanced management system. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that drive our mission forward. We need people that take pride in what they do, people that can work independently or in a group. Leads when the need arises but also followers if that is required.
Responsibilities (Soft skills):
To work independently and in groups on projects.
- To follow a leader when the need arises on a project.
- To keep to timelines and deadlines always.
- To always be eager to learn.
- To be eager to solve problems.
- To use existing systems even if you disagree with them (e.g. Project management, stock, etc)
- To have a passion for data, data handling and reporting.
- You will be required to travel on short notice if the need arise.
- You must always be in possession of a valid passport.
- You must always be in possession of a valid driver’s license.
- You must always be in possession of a roadworthy vehicle.
- You must always be in possession or be able to obtain a certificate of fitness.
- You will be required to do support on our existing and future installed systems.
Qualifications:
- 3 Year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Any programming experience.
- English and Afrikaans speaking
