Santam Re Finance has a position available for a Financial Support Officer who will be based in Cape Town (Tygervalley).
What will make you successful in this role?
The successful candidate will be required to perform a Financial Support Officer role in the Finance Division of the Santam Reinsurance team. This will encompass the collection and reconciliation of outstanding debtors, accounting for reconciling differences and allocating of monies received.
Key Accountabilities
- Receipting, allocating and reconciliation of premiums on JDE.
- Collection of premiums from Intermediaries and clients.
- Processing of financial bordereauxs and reinsurance transactions.
- Relationship building and client management
- Implement and maintain accurate financial information
- Assisting with queries and providing back-up support where required
- National Senior Certificate with a Bachelors pass
- Working experience in a financial environment would be an advantage
- Accounting Knowledge would be an advantage
- Reconciliation experience would be an advantage
- Attention to detail.
- Must have analytical ability and be able to analyse data in order to solve problems and provide appropriate solutions.
- Strong client service orientation.
