As a Surgical Accounts Manager supporting ophthalmologists and hospitals, you will be trusted to work on maintaining and building Alcon's Surgical Disposable and Instrumentation market shares in the Western and Eastern Cape while based in Cape Town.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Sales management
- Increase the number of equipment installed
- Detailing of new products and marketing initiatives to the account base in a targeted way
- Conducting training
- Planning and management of call plans
- Feedback market intelligence
- Ensure that all territory administration is completed efficiently as necessary
- Country trip to Eastern Cape once per month
- Surgical Sales Medical device background preferred, but not essential
- Experience within ophthalmology is ideal
- Understanding of healthcare industry and the private/ public hospital landscape in the area
- Strong experience in a similar commercial and multinational business is ideal
- High learning agility and adaptability
