JD Group is seeking a professional and reliable individual to join the Customer Resolution Centre team as a switchboard operator. The individual will be responsible for operating the company's switchboard system, directing incoming calls to the appropriate departments or individuals, and providing exceptional customer service to all callers.
Description
- Answer all incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Direct calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Take messages and relay accurate information to the intended recipients
- Maintain a neat and organized switchboard area
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service to all callers
- Follow company policies and procedures related to switchboard operation
- Assist with maintaining phone system equipment and reporting any technical issues to the appropriate department
- Grade 12, relevant diploma/degree
- Previous experience operating a switchboard system preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
