Job Description For Manager-System Administration
A System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's computer systems. This includes installing and configuring hardware and software, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting system issues. The System Administrator is also responsible for ensuring system security, implementing system policies and procedures, and maintaining system documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily support of Windows environment: Active Directory, domain replication, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, MECM/SCCM, Win 10, Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022
- Troubleshoot application availability in a complex Citrix environment.
- Administer configurations, access, and permissions.
- Maintain uptime and availability of applications & related infra.
- Perform routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
- Perform technical user training.
- Monitor and remediate system backup issues.
- Develop or maintain operational tools or scripts to automate the above activities.
- Execute request fulfillment, incident management, change management, and problem management in line with ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) concepts.
- Monitor ticket Queue and fulfill requests/resolve incidents in accordance with the customers contractual SLAs (Service Level Agreements)
- Provide on-call support and weekend maintenance duties as required
- Minimum experience required: 10 years.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 4+ years of specific Windows System Administration experience.
- Familiarity with Windows PowerShell
- Experience managing and maintaining a Citrix environment in Microsoft Azure
- 2-4 years experience with the following Citrix Modules
- VDAs
- NetScaler - Load Balanced
- Cloud Connectors
- Store Front
- Experience with Windows Server, System Centre, Active Directory, Multiple Domains, DNS, DHCP and DFS, and Group Policy Administration
- Operational support experience
