- IT Professional Certified.
- Able to travel outside RSA borders.
- Valid Code 8 Drivers License.
- 3-5 years with installations in the Mining industry / heavy machinery
- In-depth troubleshooting of Windows OS, Windows Server, Linux, SQL, MySQL, SMTP, POP/IMAP, VPN, or other company proprietary software.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure that tasks are completed, while adhering to quality control measures
- Support clients by conducting regular meetings with maintenance teams, troubleshooting, and providing solutions with the input of the client and Support Service Team.
- Responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and providing training to customers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Weir Motion Metrics products.
- Plan and conduct product installations, commissioning of new equipment and maintenance.
- Maintain excellent quality of all installation and service activities on the customer site.
- Carry out equipment inspections and provide the required feedback / reports to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Act as Weir Motion Metrics ambassador on the customer site.
- Adhere to the Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies.
- Always adhere to Duty of Care policy.
- Problem solve and propose solutions to faults / technical matters that may arise.
- Availability and willingness to travel frequently, including extended stays in mining locations.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Good oral and written communication in English.
- Technically sound, including ability to deliver product training.
- Responds promptly to customer needs and is customer focused.
- Safety conscious.
- Able to manage tasks and time responsibly, meets deadlines.
