We are busy with a recruitment drive for Tactical Officers that are in top physical condition.
You will have to undergo a Fitness Test and be evaluated on the Shooting Range by our specialist Instructors before proceeding with your application. Once you have passed their evaluation you will be given a 3 day induction course, which you will have to pass to be considered for employment.
Due to Operational requirements and to qualify for this unique intake you MUST be between the ages of 25 and 40 and comply with the following;
You must have recent tactical experience and be able to handle some of the stickier situations, such as controlling crowds, flushing suspects out of buildings and have experience working in “Red zones and Crime Hot Spots”
You must have excellent shooting skills (Handgun, Shotgun, Carbine) and your Competency certificate must be valid.

PSIRA Grade A
Armed Response Training (advantageous)
Own Transport and unendorsed Driver’s Licence
Clean Criminal Record (NOT NEGOTABLE)
Must be prepared to be deployed within various Units in our Group
Must be well spoken in English
Must have incredible self-restraint, be tolerant and diplomatic and be proud working within an elite unit
