Company Overview: Rocket Paye is a dynamic and innovative payroll provider, who work on behalf of
recruitment agencies and end clients, to pay their temporary workers and contractors efficiently and
compliantly. Compliance is always a hot topic in our sector, ensuring that we conduct ourselves and
make payments in line with current UK tax laws and ethical laws. To strengthen our commitment to
compliance, we are currently being audited by multiple industry accreditations and require a compliance
officer to monitor and enforce the correct code of conduct across the business. This role is so important,
as it ensures we remain compliant within an ever changing landscape, but also demonstrates to our
clients that we conduct ourselves correctly.
Position Overview: The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that Rocket Paye operates in
full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing,
implementing, and managing effective compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing guidance
to the organisation to minimize risk and uphold ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development:
Regularly review and update policies to ensure they remain current and effective.
Training and Education:
Conduct training sessions for employees to raise awareness of compliance issues and promote a culture
of ethical behavior.
Provide ongoing education to staff on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company.
Monitoring and Auditing:
Perform regular compliance audits to identify potential areas of risk and non-compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and rectify compliance issues.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management on the status of compliance efforts.
Communicate findings and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders.
Liaise with clients to notify them of certain deadlines that are coming up and what action is necessary.
Investigations:
Lead or assist in internal investigations related to compliance matters.
Maintain thorough documentation of investigations and resolutions.
Regulatory Liaison:
Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies, responding to inquiries and ensuring all required
documentation is prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
Risk Management:
Assess potential risks and advise on strategies to mitigate those risks.
Collaborate with other departments to implement risk management initiatives.

Degree is not essential but could help if relevant to the role
Prior experience with compliance is a benefit but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
