GHG EMISSIONS DATA ANALYST CONTRACTOR

Summary
Lamington Group is looking for a motivated GHG Emissions Data Analyst contractor to make an
industry-changing impact in the Sustainability Department, which has leading net zero
credentials, a range of sustainability initiatives, and forward-thinking strategy in place.
Lamington is a 55-year-old family-owned and run real estate investment and development
business based in London. The business has a significant property holding and operates in
hotels, long-term and short-term apartments.
In September 2021, Lamington Group shifted to take urgent action on the climate crisis, by
committing to be net zero by 2030. Our sustainability plan is focused on reducing carbon but to
ensure a holistic approach we have aligned to the One Planet Living principles by Bioregional.

Hometels deliver the comforts and flexibility of home combined with the best bits of a hotel.
Sites open include: Hammersmith, Chiswick, Southampton, and Belfast, with sites in
development in York and Manchester. The company is set to hold 5000 keys (guest rooms) by
2030 across the UK - opening c. 700 keys per year from 2023.
Your Objectives
You will be working on GHG emissions data arising from across The Groups property estate,
including room2, Lamington Apartments, Lamington Lettings, and Missionworks, to contribute
to the content of our annual ESG and GHG emissions reports towards our greater sustainability
goals. The role will be fully focused on data collection (from invoices and metering reports from
an EMS system), data calculations and data analysis, covering all carbon emissions calculations
for the portfolio. This data will be utilised as the groundwork for sustainability reporting for the
company.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, youll be working cross-functionality to
reporting
- Managing against project schedules, including milestones and deadlines, to deliver
- Leading emissions calculations project for entire portfolio of the company, covering

- Collecting data and the supporting documentation for the annual GHG Report, to
accounting data extractions, and more)
- Working with our externally-managed carbon accounting platform and to complete
consultants, as directed)
- Supporting the sustainability team in audit preparation and processes for annual GHG

- Organising data to identify trends in emissions for annual ESG Reporting.
- Holding a sustainability-led qualification such as a degree in Sustainability and the Built
- Knowledgeable in sustainability-related frameworks/certifications such as ISO
- Understanding of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions categories
- Experience working on carbon projects with specific experience in carbon accounting
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and report preparation
- Experience managing your own time for timely delivery of projects
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the Google suite.
