Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance for multinational group entities.
- Manage tax audits, administrative compliance, and remediation of issues.
- Handle tax administration, including CIT calculations, returns, and deferred tax.
- Oversee Central Finances tax administration (VAT, WHT, Payroll) and review related documents.
- Accountable for responding to tax authorities, conducting tax health checks, and obtaining tax clearance certificates.
- Maintain group tracking schedules and prepare management and shareholder status reports.
- Keep up-to-date with tax regulatory developments across relevant countries.
- Bachelors degree in Commerce (BComm) and a postgraduate qualification in tax.
- Minimum 5 years post-articles experience in tax, preferably within a multinational or accounting practice.
- Professional certifications such as SAIT, SAIPA, ACCA, SAIBA, AGA(SA), or CA(SA) or equivalent.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, strong numerical ability, and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong project management and problem-solving skills.
