Teacher Mentorship Programme

We are a private primary school situated in Milnerton, Cape Town. We are offering a 12-month practical Mentorship Programme for 4th year Bachelor of Education FOUNDATION phase and INTERMEDIATE phase students, as well as students that have recently graduated. The Mentorship Programme is designed to provide students with the opportunity to work closely with and be guided by an experienced teacher. The programme will cover a range of educator duties, including effective facilitation and delivery of subject lessons, lesson planning, developing weekly homework and test, classroom management, invigilating informal and formal assessments, marking of class workbooks, tests and assessment papers, recording of test and assessment marks, completing progress report marks and comments, completing term schedules, participating and coordinating in school activities and events, and being an overall team player. Students who participate in the Mentorship Programme will receive a monthly stipend of R6000.00 (Six Thousand Rands).
