I am interested in an online teaching position. I have a Bachelor's degree and a PGCE majoring in English, Mathematics and Science. I also have a 180-hour TEFL qualification. I am also SACE registered. I am a qualified teacher and have about 15 years of full-time teaching and private tutoring experience both at a primary school level as well as at a high school level. During my teaching career, I taught on average about 160 students a day. These learners were of all different academic strengths and I was quite successful in accommodating all their different learning styles. Because when it comes to my teaching approach, I really like to tailor my classes to meet the individual student’s needs. When I teach somehow my maternal instincts seem to kick in and I am very nurturing, caring, patient and persevering and with my students, especially when students do not understand concepts or make mistakes. I like to think that my classroom is a safe and fun space for all students. My perseverance coupled with my patience have contributed to the praiseworthy academic results obtained by the students whom I have taught thus far. I have been very successful in accommodating diverse students’ needs by facilitating all learning styles and offering individualized support. My biggest strengths, being my dedication, hard work, compassion, flexibility, and punctuality was greatly valued at the schools at which I have previously taught. Last year I finished my matric year and passed with a diploma. I've been looking for a job ever since. It's been five months now and I still haven't found anything. I've never worked before so it would be my first time, but I can assure u that if I get trained to do a certain job I'II put in all the effort and hard work. I'll work very hard and come in whenever I'm needed, whether it's on a weekend or on a public holiday.
