We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Support students with special needs or those who require individualized attention.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during class and other school activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to assess student progress.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
- Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
- You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
- You will have GCSE grades of A*-C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
- Competitive daily/ weekly pay rates
- 08:30 - 15:30 working hours!
- Term - time only which means lots of holiday!
