Minimum Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 2years preferably in FMCG

Main Purpose
The business currently has a stimulating opportunity for suitable candidates. The successful incumbent will ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing of our products.
A day in the life of a Team Leader:
The Team Leader will be responsible for the following:
- Control production scheduling and planning by managing production plans and ensuring attainment there off.
- Analyze output/efficiency on a shift basis and take appropriate action.
- Assist with budget and variance control by calculating budget losses and analyzing weekly variance and institute corrective action.
- Ensure that plant is maintained in excellent condition to produce at the highest economical viable efficiencies.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvements by using appropriate systems.
- Ensure compliance with Nestle Quality Management System (NQMS), and Quality Policy
- Ensure hygiene and 5s audit score standards.
- Ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment
- Identify all training needs for staff and conduct or arrange training as and when required
- NQF5 Manufacturing Management or National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Food Technology with English and Maths.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food manufacturing environment
- Sound understanding of factory operations.
- Understanding of HR procedures and practices and their application
- Have a commercial and financial understanding.
- Fully computer literate and SAP experience an added advantage
- Willing to work shifts
