- A minimum of 3 years work experience in the field of Fine Art Printmaking studios and its related technical and logistical aspects.
- 1 years experience in the same field as above if in possession of a National Diploma in Fine Art, with specialization in Printmaking.
- An evidence portfolio of personal work demonstrating knowledge of various Printmaking techniques.
- Familiarity with various Printmaking techniques and the applicable use of relevant equipment.
- Competency in MS word (and other related applications e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Competency in keeping records of Printmaking, Drawing, and other modules materials/stock within the Fine Art studio or teaching and learning environments.
- Competency in performing logistical tasks such as procurement, tracking, and receiving of art materials from suppliers.
- Ability to work within a team in pursuit of realizing broader departmental goals as well as narrower subject/module specific ones.
- Proactiveness in keeping Fine Art studios efficiently running.
- Assist the Technician in carrying out of his/her duties such as the procurement of art materials and equipment.
- Ensure that studios are kept under conducive professional conditions by developing effective systems for (i) responsible use and maintenance of equipment as well as studio facilities (ii) tracking use of materials, (iii) and timeous procurement of materials for replenishing the depleting stock (including paper).
- In liaison with the Technician and applicable subject lecturers, see to it that materials and equipment required for specific Printmaking and Drawing are readily available prior to the commencement of lessons.
