As a Technical Assistant, you will be a crucial part of our team, providing vital support to our technical operations and contributing to the smooth execution of projects. Join us in this thrilling opportunity and pave the way for a fulfilling career in the digital signage realm!
In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria:
- 18-34 years old
- Candidate is defined in accordance with the BBBEE definition
- South African citizen
- Unemployed
- Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily meetings, either in advance or on the day, with the relevant installer to discuss the upcoming job and tasks.
- Understand the requirements of the installation and assist the installer with any necessary tasks.
- Participate in the physical installation process while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the systems being installed and undergo periodic testing on technical knowledge and setup.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of installation sites during and after completion.
- Coordinate stock availability for installers in accordance with Moving Tactics stock procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback on potential improvements to installation processes.
- Assist the Technical Department by preparing equipment and supporting onsite technicians.
- Manage stock levels through stock-taking, recording stock movements, and ensuring accuracy.
- Assist the Office Manager in maintaining a neat and tidy office space.
- Uphold professionalism in all interactions.
- Communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- Present oneself in a neat and tidy manner when representing Moving Tactics.
- Adhere to company processes and procedures consistently.
- Prioritize safety by using required PPE and working safely.
- Be available for after-hours and weekend installations/work as required.
- Maintain punctuality at all times.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- Minimum of a matric qualification is required, preferably with a technical subject (TD, Woodwork, CS etc)
- Experience in installing digital / electronic equipment (AV, PCs, POS etc)
- Basic computer skills.
- Drivers Licence is required.
Basic Salary R6, 000.00 per month.
