Responsibilities
Administration and Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain the Teamcenter environment, including user accounts, security settings, and data models.
- Perform regular system health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency within Teamcenter, overseeing data imports, exports, and migrations.
- Develop and enforce data management standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and IT teams to define data requirements and workflows.
- Provide technical support to Teamcenter users, resolving issues related to system access, data retrieval, and application functionality.
- Conduct training sessions and create user guides to enhance user proficiency with Teamcenter.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, liaising with vendor support as necessary.
- Work with IT and engineering teams to integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD).
- Develop and implement custom scripts, workflows, and configurations to meet specific business needs.
- Evaluate and implement new Teamcenter modules and updates.
- Maintain detailed documentation of Teamcenter configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system usage, performance, and data integrity.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding data management.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Teamcenter in an administrative or support role.
- Proven experience in PLM systems management and data administration.
- Proficiency in Teamcenter administration, including user management, data modeling, and system configuration.
- Strong knowledge of database management, SQL, and PLM-related programming languages (e.g., ITK, SOA).
- Familiarity with ERP, CAD systems, and their integration with Teamcenter.
- Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Teamcenter or related PLM systems.
- Experience in the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards relevant to data management.
