As part of our Transport Market, you will be responsible for managing teams, designing and managing the implementation of a wide range of projects. Your accuracy, drive for standardisation and eye for detail will assist our team to co-create an engineered impact for our clients.
Your technical skills will see you working with our team to co-create engineering solutions digitally.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the leadership of the Geotechnical Engineering service line which will include developing and fostering relationships with key and global clients.
- Contribute to the growth and diversity of the larger Transport Market and taking full responsibility for the compliance to company policies and procedures, legislative requirements, and act as a role model for Zutari values and behaviours.
- Foster relationships with the rest of the Zutari business as key partners for the delivery of our Geotechnical services.
- Technical leadership of the Geotechnical service line, including project management, financial management, resource management and management of technical and commercial risk.
- Business development locally and internationally in conjunction with the relevant competency leaders and client engagement teams.
- Commercially astute with strong business and financial acumen.
- Responsible for the full Project Executive functions on complex geotechnical projects across Africa and the Middle East.
- A Post Graduate qualification (i.e. Masters degree) in Engineering Geology.
- Registered as a Professional Natural Scientist (Pr.Sci.Nat) with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
- Minimum of 10 years post Pr registration experience with a proven record in a senior role managing projects and people.
- Proven managerial, and client engagement experience.
- Proven commercial experience.
