Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the water and waste water treatment sector.
- Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into sales.
- Prepare and present detailed technical proposals and quotations tailored to customer needs.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of water treatment technologies, products, and solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams while independently managing your own sales pipeline.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities.
- Travel to customer sites locally and internationally as required - terittories include KZN, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Educational Background:
Degree or Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Additional certification in Water or Waste Water Treatment will be highly advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of technical sales experience in the water and waste water treatment industry.
Proven track record with references required.
Skills and Attributes:
Clear understanding of modern sales techniques and principles.
Proven ability to find leads and close deals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to prepare professional proposals and presentations.
