Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a national technical certificate at N3 level, matric or equivalent.
- Must be a qualified motor mechanic or automotive machinist and must have been certified by The Olifantsfontein Test Centre or equivalent institution.
- Must have actively performed his/her trade for at least 5 years.
- Must have had some experience in a warranty control environment.
- Must possess the skills to perform detailed component analysis.
- Must have a high computer literacy level.
- Must be capable of formulating cohesive technical reports as well as management reports.
- Have above average communication skills.
- Must be able to develop a very good working relationship with people.
- Clear criminal check

- Identifies and understands issues, problems, and opportunities; compares data from different sources
- Building relationships and offering technical support to the branch customer base.
- Product analysis and compiling of technical reports.
- In house product inspection and quality control at branch level.
- Work closely with sales and marketing staff at our branches.
- Liaise with national technical manager and compile monthly reports.
- Gather market feedback with regards to product range expansion.
- Respond timeously to all alleged product failures reported by customers
- Analyse and report on all alleged product failures reported by customers
- Analyse and report on all products returned by customers alleged as being faulty
- Regularly visit the Automotive Engineering customers in conjunction with the Branch Manager
- Regularly report to the National Technical Manager on findings relating to possible product faults and failures
- Monthly report to the Branch Manager on activities.
