Position Overview
MRI Software is seeking a Technical Support Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for:
Providing Technical Support: Assist users who encounter issues with software applications, including troubleshooting problems, identifying and diagnosing bugs, and offering solutions to various technical problems. Maintaining Internal Knowledge Resources: Keep internal technical knowledge resources up-to-date, ensuring that relevant information is readily available for the support team. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT staff and software developers to resolve issues, enhance software applications, and streamline the support process. Client Meetings: Participate in meetings with clients, support analysts, software developers, and other IT staff to discuss issues, gather feedback, and identify solutions. Specific Product Focus: This role is specific to the Property Central and MDA product suite, so you'll be dealing with software related to the property industry.
Qualifications
- Education: A diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in Software (such as BCom/BSC in Information Systems or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and document them effectively.
- SQL Skills: Proficiency in SQL, including understanding database structures and relationships as well as scripting.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical problems.
- Logical Thinking: Strong logical thinking skills to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Communication: Effective communication skills within the organization and with clients are crucial.
- Azure Application Insights: Experience with Azure Application Insights is a plus.
- Accounting and Property Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of accounting principles and the property industry practices is beneficial.
- 2-3 years of experience in troubleshooting and providing support for software and web applications.
