What The Job Entails
- Assist in devising technical training programs according to industry standards, and sourcing relevant course content.
- Research and development, continuously keeping abreast with changes in the IT industry and sharing findings with the team, to update and maintain our IT courses and training programs.
- Prepare and execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc.
- Mentor and guide individual Geeks through their learning journey.
- Provide Geeks with additional learning resources to enhance their learning.
- Create quizzes and assessments to evaluate Geeks', relevant to real-world scenarios.
- Conduct group and individual evaluation sessions with Geeks
- Continuously work with the team to determine overall effectiveness of training methods and programs and make improvements to the learning journey.
- Continuously learn and upskill in various IT disciplines.
- Prepare Geeks for presentations, interviews and other formal interactions.
- Provide guidance to Geeks through their project simulations and practical's.
- Facilitate, Assess and Moderate Geeks' SAQA content and submit for verification.
- Other adhoc duties as required by our current operations
- Completed tertiary Degree or Diploma in IT
- 3-5 years Industry Experience
- Completed IT industry relevant certifications
- Strong working knowledge of IT industry standards, tools and technologies (Cobol, Hogan, Murex, Software Development, Software Testing, Business Analysis, Robotics Process Automation, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Analysis / Engineering and more)
- Passionate about the IT industry and imparting knowledge
