Job Title: Researcher and Telemarketer

Salary Range: R15 000 - R20 000 per month (Eligable for commission after probation, as then true KPIs can be set)
Job Summary:
The Researcher and Telemarketer is a hybrid role that involves both conducting detailed market
research and engaging with potential customers through telemarketing efforts. This position is responsible
for collecting and analyzing data to identify new leads while also actively participating in outbound calling
campaigns to promote products or services within in the architectural/ construction project space.
The ideal candidate will have strong drive and passion to accomplish tasks, be comfortable with data-driven research, and possess excellent communication and
sales abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Researcher Responsibilities:
1. Conduct primary and secondary research on industry trends, market conditions, and the
competitive landscape.
2. Analyse data using statistical methods and software tools to identify patterns, correlations, and
actionable insights.
3. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate research findings to
stakeholders.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives and deliver
recommendations.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of research methods and suggest improvements as
needed.
Telemarketer Responsibilities:
1. Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided leads and contact lists.
2. Build an emotional connection with the customer then book discovery calls.
3. Have the sales mindset that your goal is to bring qualified leads into the business.
4. Identify and qualify leads by understanding customer needs and preferences.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and follow-up activities in the CRM
system.
6. Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets and quotas.
7. Handle customer objections and rejections in a professional manner.
8. Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and industry trends to provide accurate
information to customers.
RequirementsExperience:
1. Proven experience in a telemarketing, sales role where you had to generate your own leads.
2. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a persuasive and goal-oriented
mindset.
3. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
5. Familiarity with CRM software and call center technology is an advantage.
6. Ability to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.
7. Previous experience with an insurance background OR doing sales in architectural/ construction industry would be good.
Top Three Goals:
1) To identify new projects and clients and score them through our lead qualifying machine
2) Bring 5 new leads into the business per day
3) Book initial discovery meetings for the client relations team
KPI’s:
1) 50 calls per day
2) 20 discovery Meetings per week booked
3) Bring in 5 x new qualified leads per day
BenefitsSalary of R15 000 - R20 000 Per month
Once probation has been successfully passed, the will be eligibility for commission
As then true KPI's can be set and achieved and a Comm. structure will be arranged
15 Annual leave days which will become 20 Annual leave days upon successful passing
of 3 month probation period.
Remote work - Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm UK time
UK Bank Holidays off (you will however be required to work on SA Public holidays)
