Role Summary
- To call customers against the calling cycle to promote, sell, administer, and process orders for delivery on the required day
- Responsible for all capturing of client orders from Area Managers whilst driving sales to meet budget.
- Matric
- Bilingual English and Afrikaans
- Some experience in food preparation
- Excellent communication skills

- To receive sales orders from customers at the rate which will deliver the monthly sales targets
- Assist in achieving set trading targets in terms of sales and gross profit figures
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the net profit of the allocated customer base
- Increase existing product ranges at customers and identify new potential products
- Ensure correct product, quantity and price is invoiced to customers
- Developing sound customer relationships and secure constant sales orders from them.
- Sharing the responsibility of obtaining market information.
- Proactive tele selling against call cycles, up selling of products to customers
- Enforce minimum order quantities as per guidelines at any given time.
- Prepare quotes for Area Managers
- Build a solid process between customers' requirements and the internal sales process to ensure agreed products and promotions are rolled out across all stores.
- Identify, develop, and execute opportunities from a potential Sales pipeline.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Cold calling on potential and dormant customers
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels
- Prepare quotations for customers
- Handle customer queries (late deliveries, non-deliveries, missing stock etc) through the line-management structure
- Prepare quotations for customers, assisting in providing other key documents (product quotations, product certificates etc.) to customers.
- Assisting customers quickly, friendly in an effective and professional manner
- Treating customers with respect and dignity
- Ensure adherence to calling cycles, CRM (personal upliftment / training) and marketing programs are implemented and effective
- To embrace segmented channel marketing
- To manage own, National, Regional and Store promotional activities
