They will monitor the tender submission process, ensure completeness of data and documents, compliance with requirements, ensure quality standards are adhered to, be aware of and ensure tender deadlines are complied with.
The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will have impeccable verbal and written English skills, be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, extremely organised, liaise with all relevant departments, and highly computer literate.
- Responsible for management of tender process from receipt to delivery
- Procurement of tender documents, assessment of relevance and analysis of requirements; ensuring that format of the tender is adhered to in the event that the tender dictates it.
- Collate tender documents which includes, all related pre-qualification and questionnaires- Ensure that tenders are of a high standard in terms of quality.
- Update tender register and follow-up tenders, maintain traceability of electronic and hard copy material.
- Ensure that tender submissions represent the best possible response in terms of completeness, appropriateness
- Provide updates and progress reports on submitted tenders
- Ensure the up-to-date status of all commercial documents including but not limited to Tax Clearance and BEE certificate.
- Develop and apply the SWOT analysis to all prospected tender documents.
- Provide support to Administration department as and when required.
- Relevant degree/ diploma (NQF level 6), administrative qualification will be highly beneficial.
- 1 - 2 years in tendering or relevant work experience
- Strong administration, organisational and inter-personal skills
- Office administration background
- Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficient
- Government industry knowledge will be beneficial
