Typically working within a test team but sometimes required to take sole responsibility for all aspects of testing. The test Analyst will be required to work with development teams, project managers, end users and other groups to ensure that all criteria of testing are fulfilled.
The nature of this work generally demands a reasonable level of proficiency in the quality assurance aspects of software, as the role may involve gathering of requirements, generation of test cases and test plans, integration with software components and feedback to both the test organisation and the other teams. The ability to maintain rigorous compliance with project deliverables and industry standards is a prized asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and maintaining test plans
- Providing feedback to the Development, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Project Management teams

Knowledge/Experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Experience of Marketing Automation software such as HubSpot, Marketo or others
- Good knowledge of marketing tactics and tools (social, print, media).
- Experience of SEO/SEM, PPC and other Digital Marketing.
- Knowledge of K8 or similar ERP /CRM system will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of DTP will be an advantage but not essential.
- Creative, practical and able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines with sales teams.
- High level of computer literacy including spread sheets (excellent Excel skills required) databases and Internet.
- Ability to work in a team and experience of managing a team
- Experience of channel marketing
- Must be reliable, presentable and professional in a customer facing environment.
- Experience of copywriting and editing.
- Can do, innovative attitude
- Experience or/knowledge of compiling and maintaining Marketing budgets
- Test management tools such as QC, Spira Teams, Test Rail, XRay, Zephyr etc.
- Experience in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps
- Methodologies/Frameworks such as Waterfall, V-Model and Agile
- ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst OR ISTQB Technical Test Analyst (Desirable)
- ISTQB Agile (Desirable)
- ISTQB Foundation (Essential)
- Practical Software Testing (Essential)
- Usability Testing (Desirable)
- UX Testing (Desirable)
- Mobile Testing (Desirable)
- Must have between 1-3 years experience in software testing
- Bachelors or masters degrees in engineering or science related fields. Areas of study may include Network Engineering, Statistics, Management Information Systems, and Quality Assurance.
