To ensure the quality of existing or new IT solutions are in line with business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements, and to ensure documentation is updated accordingly.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent.
- 3-5 years experience in Software Testing.
- Extensive experience as a Functional test analyst.
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience.
- Testing tool experience (i.e. qTest, ALM etc.)
- Employee Benefits experience an advantage.
- SQL knowledge.
- Participate in the initial planning which can include writing user stories and identifying story points.
- Attend review/grooming sessions to gain clarity on unclear requirements.
- Ensure acceptance criteria are clear, testable, and adhere to the definition of done.
- Design appropriate test scenarios and test cases based on the user story and acceptance criteria.
- Review test scenarios with team members for input and coordinate testing within the team to ensure test coverage and risks are being covered.
- Identify and perform integration and regression testing required across user stories.
- Achieve testing efficiency by applying the correct test techniques and principles.
- Create the necessary test data.
- Manipulating test data to triggertest conditions and writing SQL toperform data validation.
- Produce appropriate testing artifacts for user stories (i.e., Testplans, proof of testing, etc.).
- Understand potential testing risks and how they impact the product and business to make appropriate decisions while considering time constraints.
- Verify defects are effectively recorded, communicated, and understood.
- Organize and conduct user acceptance testing with the relevant stakeholders.
- Provide all Training/Coaching to new testers as and when required.
- Actively collaborate with team members to continually improve one existing test methods and processes
