Job purpose: Facilitate lifting equipment training coupled with training, assessing and coaching new and existing drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate existing drivers i.e. conduct annual driver assessment and Soft Skills Training.
- Ensure that the Drivers Licences and PrDP are valid.
- Report and record keeping of the evaluations and soft skills training conducted on the new and existing drivers.
- Capture all the driver evaluations and report back to business on the evaluation conducted.
- Training attendance registers to be filled and filed correctly.
- Proper record keeping of all training conducted.
- Facilitate and assess the following accredited courses through theoretical and practical training:
- Operate a counterbalance lift truck (Forklift), truck mounted crane, advanced purpose lift truck, defined purpose lift truck, powered pallet lift truck
- Basic fire fighting | Convey Dangerous Goods by Road | Customer service
- Matric
- Good communication skills
- TETA Registered Assessor and Moderator with the following:
- Operate a counterbalance lift truck (Forklift), truck mounted crane, advanced purpose lift truck, defined purpose lift truck, powered pallet lift truck
- Knowledge of Conveying Dangerous Goods by Road | Basic fire fighting | Customer service
- Must hold a Code 14 drivers license with valid PrDP
- Previous experience in similar role +5years.
- Must be able to operate lifting machines, articulated and combination vehicles i.e. superlink.
- Knowledge of post-accident driver evaluation
